Completed during my senior year of high school in 2019-2020, “Beauty Among Madness” was my first original series of drawings I had ever created.  Trying to replicate complicated settings through only graphite, this chronological series taught me so much not just from a technical standpoint, but also from an emotional one.  I had never used my own references before this series which made bringing to life these emotions and story I wanted to tell a challenging yet fulfilling experience.  While my technical skills have developed quite a bit since this series, I am still incredibly proud of it.  I hope you can find your own meaning and relate your past experiences to each piece like I can.  Enjoy.
